"Interesting take from Lee Ziemba on the outcome of some of LSU’s games so far this year. Pretty much everyone talks about the luck LSU has had in those close games. But Ziemba makes a very valid point: "That says they must be a close team like we are if they’ve been winning like we have. They must be as willing to fight for each other as the guys are here. It’s a testament to the guys they have there and the coaches."

They respect LSU as they should, and I'm sure the same can be said for AU. The record for the LSU/AU series over the last 12yrs speaks for itself (Outside of the last 3 of coarse)

What are the odds that Ziemba had to repeat that statement because he false started before the reporter started the microphone.

How many false starts has he had this year? I can't think of any in particular.

Until 07, the LSU/AU series was awesome and became a great 10yr very competative rivarly. After that, LSU took over as AU took a step back. AU respects that we have punched them in the mouth the last 3 yrs and will have some extra motivation going into this game for multiple reasons.

He should be talking about how he is going to avoid the three plus false start penalties he has every game. I hate Ziemba...Only AU player that I really have not ever liked.

How long has this dude been in college? I swear that it seems like he's been at Auburn for freaking forever.

He's the new Tommy Trott. Guy played with Bo Jackson and Ben Tate, it seemed like.

In the few games that I've watched him play, I thought to myself that I've never seen an SEC football player hold that flagrantly that often before. He seemed like he was damn near a wrestler a couple of seasons ago.

If you need extra motivation, something is wrong.

No, you want to talk about guys that were there forever, talk Tre Smith.

Guy ran for like 130 yards on Alabama in 2002 when Cadillac and Ronnie Brown were injured and is still there in 2006 to do a flip into the end zone on a blocked punt against Florida.

Ziemba's first year was 2007, and he was nearly a Day 1 starter.
