Auburn folks... what's the 411 on Chuck Person? Is he ready for a HC gig?

I see he interviewed at UAB last year and didn't win the job. Is he a good teacher of the game? Good recruiter?

That's his ultimate goal by all accounts. He probably still had another year even if we were really successful, but now probably 2-3 years if we improve

He's seemed to be solid at helping guys improve their shooting. Hard to determine how he has done in other areas given our team's regression on the season

I think he will be an excellent head coach. He can recruit and the players like him. We faltered down the stretch (lost 6 of our last 8) but that is partially due to Freshman fatigue and conditioning.

Nobody on that staff can teach Defense.

I was a huge fan of his as a kid. Never knew he was coaching at Auburn. Glad to hear he's doing well.
