Do you guys regret hiring Muschamp? Let me say I think the guy is cursed and I am still suffering the Muschamp PTSD. As Good as I feel about Florida right now. I am so shell shocked I am waiting for the other shoe to drop.

Well, Auburn fans have always been a bit premature if you know what I mean.

No. Didn't expect him to fix the defense right away. The guys he brought in this last recruiting class are already playing better than most of the guys we had. I think he'll get us turned around pretty soon on that side of the ball.

He's been here before so we knew pretty well what we were getting. The Muschamp defenses under Tubbs were my favorite defenses.

No, not his falut Auburn refused to recruit DL players from 2012-2014. Was not his play to put all the passrush on Ouchie Lawson.

Be honest with yourself, Muschamp had qb issues at UF. That was his undoing. Driskell was not a winner and it sunk him. He left UF stacked with talent on D and left yall Will Grier.

I understand that, just curious because how well Cece Jefferson has played for Florida.

He's a true freshman. Not everyone gets it right away.

Muschamp's been pleased with how he's played so far. Muschamp said Cowart's a little frustrated because he doesn't understand you can play well and not put up numbers when you move up to the college level. He'll get it though.

Holland has been one of our better pass rushers. All the low rated DBs we got after Muschamp came in have been playing and have been an upgrade from anything we've had at the position since Tubbs.

Operative part of his answer was not all freshmen.

Driskell has a 10-1 TD to int ratio this year at LA Tech. Is completion % is higher than he ever had at UF, and he is on a pace to exceed his career UF totals in completions, attempts, yardage, and TDs in his sole La Tech season.

Jacoby Brissett, who he also had, has flourished at NC State.

Boom is a good DC, but as a HC at UF history seems to show that the only QB problem he really had was his inability to effectively employ one.

Why? Why is he cursed and what evidence do you have to support that? When did this curse begin and what was the cause? Did he hit a gypsy with his car or something?
Is being a shitty head coach a curse or is it just being in over your head as a coach?

The regret Auburn has had is the expectation they - being their fans - put on the program this year. I think they now see it will take WM longer to get the defense where it should be. Guy has always been a great DC - and a few years in his system with his type players - I would expect Auburn to be just fine on the defensive side of the ball.

No.

He is at least changing personnel when the effort is lacking.

I think he turns it around for us.

We really have a lack of big time college football players in the front 7 right now. Coach Saban would struggle to win with the current crop of LBs and DTs on our roster.

Never knew there were gator fans in Key West.

You all can complain about muschamp all you want but he left you in a lot better shape than Meyer did, and you all are 4-0. Let it go and enjoy your season and new coach.

I don't regret Muschamp being hired.

The only fans that expected Auburns defense to be worth anything this year never played a down of football.

Ellis Johnson and Will Muschamp have 2 different styles of defense. Changing a defense isn't like changing a shirt.

Muschamp, much like Kiffin is a better coordinator than a HC. Auburn should be better on defense in the next 2-3 years than they have been in the last 10.
