I feel that this more an attempt to slam Bama fans than an appeal towards his fellow students to not sell tickets.
Sorry a huge majority of the state roots for the state school. Creates a good selling opportunity for ticket holders of a .500 team.
Also quit being butt hurt about Bama and grow up.

But I have to know since apparently Alabama fans are the "dumb" ones here.
Do people who aren't crack addicts buy crack? I'm not an expert on the topic, but seems to me that only crack addicts would buy crack.
If not, is he suggesting we should only sell crack to people who aren't crack addicts? Then it's ok? Do we use high pressure sales tactics to make it happen?

You find it ridiculous that an Auburn student wrote an open letter to Auburn's student body about the student section being filled with Alabama fans? It doesn't take much for you, does it?

What if some of those fans just wanted to watch the game? What if they were nice and genuine to the other Auburn fans in attendance? Congratulated on a hard fought game????
There were no reports of issues/fights between fans?

Auburn students selling their student tickets for $$$ knowing AU was going to lose. Sounds smart to me.

I'll have to say from what I could tell on television, the Auburn fanbase solidly supported their team Saturday. Very impressive.

For sure. There are those students who have zero interest in football but sell their tickets every game for money. I don't doubt there were several bammers wanting to attend given the lopsided mess among our teams.

Well yeah, he's an Auburn fan.
He does have a valid point. It used to piss me off when I was a student at Bama and opposing fans were sitting in the student section. Seems it was always Tennessee fans, or maybe they just stood out more because of that awful orange.

Many Bama fans actually attend Auburn. Also many Auburn students still have Bama Friends who want to attend. Letter is more funny than anything. Ridiculous is the wrong word.
Had two sets of Bama fans sitting near me. One young couple were great, the others I believe were related to Updyke, really bad. They were ridiculous.
Invited some Alabama fans to tale gate with us. At the game, they set in the Auburn section. Many companies own tickets and give to their employees. They had a couple of jerk Auburn fans around them, cursing them, asking them how they got these tickets, etc. They had a 12 year old child with them. That is RIDICULOUS, this letter was not.
