I just found it funny when an AU poster in this thread made a post that Auburn is too talented to finish worse than 10-2 or something along those lines... I mean are they even top 3 in the SEC when it comes to "talent?"

A Florida fan I know realizes their head coach is trash.

My only concern is whether or not he'll be returning for his Senior season.

after seeing his Junior season I was concerned about him returning his Senior year too.

JJ didn't pan out but he was a good guy that kept his nose clean and did what was asked of him. He just didn't handle the pressure well.

Maybe we are...

JJs sample size from 2013-2014 where he was filling in for Marshall is about the same as Stidham from 2015.

But in fairness, does no one remember the season opener against Arky? Or Tennessee Tech? He was the definition of a future star. Then he just fell apart for whatever reason.

Your quote from me was spot on. Sean White actually did lead the SEC in completion % before he broke his arm, so what's the problem?

Is Stidham JJ 2.0?

It's possible. You'd better hope so...we all know what happens when CGM has a decent QB.

They are behind Alabama, but they are right there with LSU and Georgia. That makes them absolutely top 4.

I put them in front of LSU because they have a deeper stable of running backs (although Derrius Guice is the clear #1), better wide receivers, a much better quarterback and superior coaching. Also, Auburn's defense was pretty damned good in 2016 and the best it had been in a while.

Based on what exactly? Certainly not recruiting rankings? I agree with somewhat of what TTs was saying but come on... 2?

I think the top 4 are easy to call (Alabama, Auburn, LSU and Georgia...in no specific order), with Florida and Texas A&M being the next 2, IMO.

So you agree that we have more talent than. LSU, but think it's ridiculous that we are #2? Who would you put there then, Georgia?

Really you're splitting hairs between AU, UGA, and LSU as to who's 2-4, I just happen to think from top to bottom, at every position, that Auburn as of right now has more talent than the other two.

Yeah, well, Auburn "stole" a coach Arkansas "didn't want" and look how that turned out.

Well Gustav could be on his way out after this year so it's yet to be determined

Florida is not with those other teams.

And you said you agree with TTsTowel who put Auburn ahead of LSU

I said "somewhat". I mean obviously y'all have the QB advantage, but elsewhere I don't see it especially when you say top to bottom at every position that AU is better which is not true at all.

If we're going off recruiting rankings every year then it's Alabama, LSU, Georgia, Florida and then AU.

RB - push (LSU better starter, AU better depth)
WR- Auburn
OL- Auburn
DL- Auburn
LB- Auburn
