Auburn fans - Pressure on Malzahn (regarding Alabama record)?

Just out of curiosity, is there any pressure or discontent with Malzahn regarding his Alabama record? Or, is this year a must win for him and Auburn?

He's currently 1-3 against Alabama - riding a 3 game losing streak and held to 13 points or less the past two games.

Obviously, expectations are high this year. Would a loss do him in?

Would a loss to Bama get our HC fired? No, are you retarded?

Everybody understands that Nick Saban is at Bama right now and what type of run he is. That's reality.

Not that we are expecting to lose to Bama. But if we win 10 games and lose a close competitive game to Bama then that'll suck, but nobody would be on the hot seat for that.

That said, there is a 75% chance that Auburn will beat Bama this. Bama fans are going to quote this and crack jokes, but they know it. They're worried, and they do a poor job of hiding it behind shitty attempts at humor.

There's pressure on him to win, period. Auburn fans will be really unhappy if we had to sit through another 7, 8 or even 9 win season. We see the talent on the field and expect 10 wins or more.

If I were to put a game or team that he is on the line for it would be UGA. Right now, Auburn is not going to beat Alabama every other year. They are recruiting more talent than anyone in the nation. It is not our job to be the team to beat them every year,

UGA on the other hand is a more compatible team that is owning us at the moment and last years debacle should have put Gus on the clock. He almost let us lose to LSU and even Vandy was driving to beat us at the end of the game.

He needs to do better and I think he will

This is a perfect example of what I was talking about in my post.

You can always tell when Bama fans get scared.

There's more pressure for how he's performed against UGA. We should've beat them at least two more times than we did.

He's done pretty well against Bama though. 1-3 isn't embarrassing with how they've been playing.

Auburn has gone 23-16 the past 3 years. Not solely a loss on Alabama, but a 1-4 record...losing again to Alabama...surely the seat would be damn hot...

LSU fans were ready to pack Miles' things for him regardless of this incredible run Alabama has been on...

Unlike LSU, we don't base our entire season on Alabama

And that's why LSU fans are retarded and set your program back no less than 10 years by hiring a moron. Y'alls delusion is literally killing your athletic department.

It's honestly fun to watch for us outsiders though

Starting his career 1-4 against his biggest rival would have to make the seat a little toasty one would think. On second thought, perhaps not. He is at Auburn after all. Sometimes accepting your place in the pecking order can be a healthy thing.
