Sorry if this has been previously posted.

But, I'm just returning for a trip to ATL and saw at least 3 billboards for Auburn while I was all around the ATL area.

One on Canton Rd/Hwy 5 & I75 in Marrietta, one on 85S past Druid Hills exit and one on I75S off the I575 merge.

What are they trying to advertise? Academics, ticket sales?

With the Hope Scholarship keeping more and more Georgia Students in state it's getting harder and harder to get into UGA and Tech. AU has long been a "backup" plan for many Georgia Students. I'm guessing they are trying to make that even mroe true with this ad campaign.

It's basically,

"You couldn't get in UGA or Tech so come to AU, it's pretty good".

Not close. But your ignorance is amusing. That UGA education you got must be pretty sorry. Hope you got the scholly and didn't have to waste your money for it.

This is the biggest line of BS I think I've seen in a while. You realize that people in ATL go to schools other than UGA, Tech, and the various in state institutions that are available to them?

Hell I had PACT in Alabama and left to go to LSU. Apparently using your logic, I'm too stupid to get into Auburn or Bama. Oh wait, I was accepted by UGA and declined their offer.

Just seems like AU has flooded the market in ATL, that's all. The billboard has the AU white helmet on it, so I thought it might have something to do with ticket sales.........

So a few billboard's is flooding the market? frick you people are stupid.

LSU had a full-page ad in the Continental Airlines magazine two years ago. I'm guessing they were flooding the whole world...

It's easier to get into UGA for out of state males than pretty much any other demographic.
I applied there as well. Also got into Tennessee, but Ole Miss is where my heart was.

I swear bama fans get all bent out of shape over some fricking billboards. This is like the 3rd one in a week.

It is just as much insecurity as stupidity when you are talking about the gumps I think.

Has anyone else not seen the LSU billboard somewhere on I-35 in Either Waco or Temple, TX?

That that was a little bizarre.
