Even as an Auburn fan, I'm consistently baffled at how this program appears to have one foot in the grave and somehow fights back to field decent teams. After the 1-2 start I was among the crowd who thought the Gus Bus was about to driven right out of Auburn, because the trend was undeniable. 12-2, 8-5, 7-6, and then a 1-2 start?

Don't know if I've seen anything like it really in college football. Every time Auburn is predicted to be good, they seem to blow arse. And every time nobody pays any attention to them, they're top 10 in November.

Did anyone actually think they'd be able to do it back after the TAMU loss? I sure as hell did not.

Using LSU logic you beat LSU by 5, so you'll only score 5 on bama. So final score will be 5-10 Alabama

No, but we did learn very quickly that Auburn had a very good defense. Gus just had to get the offense moving the ball a little bit more consistently.

LSU was pertinent to this conversation.

I thought that was akin to a unicorn or yeti, something supposedly real but there is no evidence of it.

I agree man. I am amazed at how effective that Malzahn highschool offense is in the SEC. This is not a flam OP I am very serious. Malzahn has taken his offense and ran the ball down the throats of every team in this conference at least once. My fellow Bama fans will pretend to not be concerned about the IB but I sure as shat am.

Last season with a below average D and no QB play we managed to stay within a single score basically in every game but one. That meant this season we theoretically should do better than last. I always believed 9 wins in the regular season was the cap on this team with the schedule we have, but I hope I am wrong. I believed we had a punchers chance at 10 games until the injuries kept piling up. At this point we just need to take care of uga and let the chips fall where they may.

AU might control their own destiny they have a great big locomotive to move out of their way, UA's Defense is going to shut them down, Hurts will score enough AU has a 22% chance of winning the Iron Bowl, It's not going to happen AU's Defense is not as good as LSU I see a beat Down.

And yet when we played, Auburn's defense held LSU to fewer points than Auburn scored in the game.

im baffled that kevin steele has morphed your Defense into one of the better units in the league after muschamp coached it into one of the worst. just like im baffled that chavis is on track to field a worse defense than mark snyder. strange times we live in.

Yup next year will be a down year for Auburn. Don't know how you guys can deal with that shite. It's why I had you at 10-2 coming into this year. Now I say, 9-3.

And how would you say that LSU's offense compare's to Auburn's offense?

If Auburn wins out, they are your SEC Champions and honestly likely the national champions. Hence, they control their own destiny.
