How do Auburn folks feel about this season so far? Obviously it wasn't supposed to be a 25 win team, but it has to put a bit of a stall on the enthusiasm doesn't it? Obviously there have been injuries and Pearl has a bunch of highly rated guys coming in, so it would be silly to panic over things, but there was a lot of excitement going into the year and especially after the first 3 weeks or so.

We've got several guys that would be playing big time minutes that have been out for a while. This season is basically fvcked.

Injuries have gutted this team. Help is on the way with Austin Wiley and Mustapha Heron.

I still at least enjoy watching the team under pearl. Even if the record isn't much better. We're playing quality opponents in ooc play and if not for our injuries we would be a lot better. Also got fricked by the ACT not letting our best player on the court.

Yea, all those answers are basically how I think I would feel as an Auburn person. I'd be frustrated but understand the process of things and the setbacks.

Half of our scholarship players have missed multiple games. Plus we don't have very many decent players on scholarship period.

Bruce is in the midst of a huge construction project. He's got good materials coming soon and he'll build a good foundation, I just wonder if he hangs around to see the finished product?

Will probably beat LSU. Somehow they beat us 3 times last year

It's a frustrating season. I think we have 7 scholarship guys playing right now. Every newcomer has looked pretty good. When we've been healthy we've looked like a promising young team.

Next year we'll have more depth, our 7'2" C will be back on the team. Our best recruit from this year will be eligible who Pearl says is the best player on the team, has NBA and possibly one and done potential. We bring in a 5* recruit, talented top 100 PG, and a PF with size to play immediatley and at 5 if needed.

I took great pleasure in Iowa thrashing Michigan State tonight

Next season. He's been in school and making the grades all year so he'll be eligible no matter what with the ACT.

Pearl says he's the best player on the team and will play in the NBA

This is the rant. Comments like this are rational. RA

10-4. I remembered talk that he might get cleared in time for conference play. If he is that good, probably better to wait now and get a whole year out of him. At least a one and done instead of a half and done.

I think most AU fans that have followed the season understand the struggles. Its frustrating because you see flashes of good play but we have come to the point where we are just relying on Canty or Brown to make 3s all game and that just isn't good enough.

If we can get at least Dunans back this is a team that can at least harass some of the SEC big boys if we are on from the 3 pt line. The encouraging thing is the amount of talent coming into the program. Bryce Brown is already showing he can be a player, Horace Spencer has work to do but you see the athleticism, Purifoy will be eligible next year and might be best player on the roster and then we are bringing in a strong recruiting class. Hoping for some more SEC tourney magic at the end of the year as I don't think we are going to see a huge bump in record at this point

I haven't watched 10 seconds of Auburn basketball but with this much time I honestly thought Pearl would have them more competitive than they have been.

Bruce is building something good in Auburn. This season is sucking, but they will trend up sooner rather than later.

Half of our team is hurt. Including 3/5 of our starting lineup.
