Now we are about to be in the Regionals.

Not a bad turn-around.

We lack a bit of depth, but it's not like we are Bama (8-18) or Georgia (5-21) currently.

Those "programs" are clearly never getting to "Hoover" this year.

Wish it were Nashville, Atlanta or Memphis...but the SEC does what it wants.

Beat you so bad it made you fire your coach in the only sport that matters.

Les Miles quit the next morning. If truth be told.

But that was football.

Those French descenders are still confused about History.

There is a reason Napoleon sold over half of the current United States to fund his wars in Europe.

No one enjoys the French.

...not even themselves.

A one second late snap is beaten so bad? Auburn should be more embarrassed that LSU fired its coach because it was so embarrassed about just losing to a pathetic Auburn team on the road

45-21 is a proper beating..

Making a regional shouldn't be the measuring stick. It's a nice step forward but it doesn't change the fact that Auburn finished weak and lost the chance to host a regional.

Nah. The hire they made is still the most embarrassing thing to happen in the sec in any sport in years.

Alright but one game at home doesn't make a coach great.

Probably not, but it would mean a lot losing to the worst hire in SEC history

I didn't say worst hire ever. I said in a while. He certainly doesn't have a resume to boast about for a school as good as LSU is supposed to be.

Sorry in "years". I don't think there were many that were thrilled with the hire, but he's done nothing but good things so far. He may not end up the best coach but one thing is for sure the players want to play for the man and that tells you a lot. I'll reserve my comments of an embarrassing hire until he has a year or 2.

It really doesn't matter if we host a regional.

We were 8-22 last year, and have now corrected those mistakes.

It is a nice "turn-around."

We never expected such success to begin with in 2017.

Just making the Regionals is a bonus.

We are there easily this season, however.

See you in the Top-12 of the SEC Baseball Tourney.

Well this will be 2nd regional since the bat change. And Sonny Galloway left the program absolutely raped for talent. It's not a measuring stick, but it is a step up in the rebuild worth noting.

You realize that not every program has multiple CWS titles and is annually one of the top teams in the conference, right? So not every program has the same bench mark set that LSU.

It's like if LSU basketball makes the NIT next season but a Kentucky fan chimes in saying that shouldn't be a measuring stick. Well no shite for Kentucky its not, but for LSU who is coming off a historically bad 2-16 conference record it would be something to be excited about. Even if you did collapse down the stretch after it looked like you'd make the big dance, you still exceeded all expectations.
