LINK

there are probably some AU fans who would enjoy this... Jim Fyffe giving the play by play. Some of the younger Auburn fans probably don't have the appreciation for Fyffe as some of us do, but he was a great radio guy.

UGA was NOT coming off a huge win in Jax over Florida... but we murdered them... Sanford Stadium was half empty at halftime.

Kevin Ramsey may have been the worst defensive coach in SEC history.

He was demoted before the season and Donnan hired Ramsey away from Tennessee as defensive coordinator despite having no experience whatsoever. He only lasted one season and this was the game that pretty much sealed his fate.

Tubbs really got things turned around quickly, they hit rock bottom with the Bowden debacle season in 98, were respectable even though 5-6, then made the SEC CG in 2000.

This was the game that made Jason Campbell go to auburn. He was on a recruiting visit for this game and overheard someone say the N word from the stands, which of course eliminated Georgia from contention for him lol.

You know he had 4 OC's in 4 years, right?

All worked out in the end though.......
