11am in Starkville is kinda scary for me. I think Auburn is a much better team. If you look at State they lost to South Alabama who isnt bad but its still South Alabama & gave up 35 points to Umass and were losing to them in the 3rd Qtr. The 11am kick and it being our first road game is the 2 things that worry me most. What do yall think of this game?

Like our chances unless we shite the bed.

I think those games are meaningless. Start the season with both starting CB's out the week before first game while already young in secondary. One out the year, the other broke his arm. A new QB and figuring out who is who on the OL.
We shall see.
We shall see.

Both teams seem 2x as good as 2008. Makes sense

This is Sean White's revenge game. And Mr. Coach Gus Malzahn gonna get his manhood back against the Hunchback of Starkghanistan.
Do we know who the announcers will be? If it is Racist Rod Gilmore again I made have a few cups of bleach before kickoff.

I always thought ol' RG was the consummate professional. Do you have any examples of him being a racist?

Just establish the run, and pound the shite out of them. Hope this isn't a game where the tumor tries to get cute and throw 40 passes to show his offensive brilliance.

The front 7 is this team's strength. It might be hard to line it up and pound it to get a W. Sean White is gonna have to make plays with his arm. With that being said, our secondary is arse, my dude.

That might be why the young studs at WR were getting all those reps last weekend. I hope Gus let's White throw the ball further than 5 yards down the field this week.

Its coming at some point. The questions is, which game

Should be a pretty good game. I would lean towards auburn winning, but I wouldn't bet on it

Auburn will likely kick 13 field goals.

Mississippi State is the biggest unknown in the league at this point.
They obviously are better than the Eastern division bottom feeders based on how they beat up on South Carolina. But based on how they lost to USA, struggled against UMass, and lost to LSU, they are obviously not near the top of the league.
I see MSU finishing no worse than 2-6 in SEC play... they already beat South Carolina and they'll have no problem with Kentucky.
But I see MSU finishing no better than 4-4 in SEC play... they already lost to LSU and I don't think they stand a chance against Bama, Ole Miss, or TAMU.
So basically their season boils down to 3 games: Auburn, Arkansas, and BYU. Those are the only games left on their schedule that are in question for me.
They could win all three and finish the season 8-4. They could also lose all three and finish the season 5-7. My gut feeling is that they'll be closer to 5-7.
