You've got Kam Pettway and what else?

Stidham is a question mark until game 1 so put him aside. Is it your defense I should respect? Who are the big names? What about receivers? OL is usually above average under Hand and is that expected to continue?

They have the preseason Heisman winner. That should be good enough

Auburn is going 0-2 against the East this year. Those cow frickers in west Georgia ain't ready for this SEC BEast pain train.

We're better than you. It took a WR playing wildcat to throw a pick 6 for you to beat us by 6 points.

How bout you convince me that Georgia is for real?

19 returning starters

top backfield in the SEC returning

#7 scoring defense returning with 9 players who started

106 starts on the O line returning

best kicker in the country returning.

and some bum named Jarrett Stidham is playing QB.

We didn't have a QB last year. We seem to have one this year. O-line is best in the conference. Defensive line is stout with depth. Secondary depth is somewhat of a concern for me and our backups have had a lot of injuries. RB would should be okay but depth still a concern. Legatron will make it rain.

Now sell me on your o-coordinator and your o-line.

That was our WR that did that. White threw the pick 6.

I feel like he was just trying to find out about your team, but I enjoy your overly defensive response. I don't think we expect our team to be that great, but we're very fortunate our schedule is weak.

QB and OL should be improved, but how much is a big question mark. RB will be solid. Defense was great and returns almost everyone. Hopefully Thompson returns to full strength.

WR is my biggest worry at this point. I really like Wims a lot, but everyone else has had drop issues. There's talent there though with Ridley, Godwin, and Hardman.

Special teams is also a huge concern.

Is this just 19 players who have started, because you're definitely not returning 19/22 from the offensive and defensive depth chart.

Thanks for a serious question and not a troll. Rhino's answer covered it pretty well.

He didn't mention receivers, but I think this is the best group I've seen at Auburn in my 25 years as a fan. I just hope we are throwing to them now and not running them on sweeps.

So, a strong defense, good OL, great kicker, good RB, and then a bunch of question marks?

Very good receivers as well. What other question marks? QB couldn't possibly be worse than the last 2 years, even if Stidham is mediocre.

If Stidham live up to the hype they can be dangerous.

Solid backfield
Good receiving corps
Veteran O-line
Strong D-line(depth may be an issues if injuries occur)
Average LBs
Decent secondary
Best place kicker in football

Even if Auburn can't completely stop a team, if they can just slow them down they can win alot of games. All they want to do is outscore you, and if Stidham is what they say he is they will do just that.

We literally broke your last QB, don't make us do it again.

Agree, we haven't had anyone to throw to them. Extremely talented group.

We should see more true TE play with the new offensive coordinator. I would say my biggest concern is depth in the secondary. Really can afford injuries there.

He was broken long before that. Oklahoma literally broke him (his arm).

Real answer.

Yes, we have Kam Pettway and one of the best and most experienced O lines in the conference. Behind Kam, we have solid RB depth -- last year we were bit by the injury bug.

You're right, Stidham is a question mark. And I would argue we won't really find out until game 2 (Clemson) or 4 (Mizzou - first SEC game). However, AU proved last year that when healthy, even with a serviceable QB, we can win SEC games. See LSU - Vandy 6-game winning streak. Even if Stidham is only mildly better than White, we should be able to contend with anyone. We've also got the most solid QB depth, top-to-bottom, than we've had in a long time.

Our receivers will be better than last year.

Our defense should be solid again. I would be shocked if we took a big step back. We do have question marks at who'll rush opposing QB's and Byron Cowart hasn't panned out (yet), but he's changed positions so we'll see. There are reports that we'll have some breakout D lineman who can get after the QB.

Our LB depth and talent is the best it's been since the Tuberville days.

Secondary, barring injuries, should be better than last season.

Our schedule is also more favorable than last year.

Clemson will be tough on the road, but they lost a lot of talent and we hung with them last season with some of the worst AU offensive play calling I've ever seen.

We should beat MIzzou on the road and we get both MS teams back-to-back at home.

Then we have a road trip to LSU, road trip to Arkansas, BYE, and road trip to A&M.

Bama and UGA at home.

The two big questions are:
1. How good is Jarrett Stidham
2. Will Gus keep his hands off the offense and let Chip Lindsey call the shots

If Stidham meets expectations, Gus keeps his hands off the offense and there are no major injuries, suspensions, etc., expect the Iron Bowl to determine the SEC west champion.

EDIT:
And like others have said one of, if not best, place kicker in the country and TE's being utilized.

Chip Lindsey should also give our route trees a much-needed update.
