Why in the world is this thing so heated? Damn! Reading this board it would be by far the most heated rivalry in the league.

They have had a longer history of playing each other than I had thought with a long series in the 80s/90s. Was it this heated during that span?

Someone feel me in here.

It's not like the two have a storied history playing each other....or do they?

You might want to research that OP.

LSU fans got pretty upset about starting the season 0-1 from the late 80s to mid 90s

They passed that hate down to their children

Multiple reasons.
- rich history btwn the two schools
- Texans who leave the state for LSU tend to harbor feelings of animus (I won't go into the obvious reasons why); and they eventually return home with piss & vinegar running through their veins
- geographic proximity (border rivalry)
- the previous Aggies/Tigers football series ended very badly (divorce)
- recruiting battles

It doesn't exist

Both a&m and LSU don't have rivals

Yep LSU was the battered wife that we got drunk and beat on, then she left and took our house and kids (millions she owed us)

To be fair I haven't seen as much of NFLU lately. I hope he is ok.

tamu fans currently get upset by losing their Super Bowl every year. Their hate is manifested in an inferiority complex, numerous response threads, and frequently citing lists and rankings that have nothing to do with football.

The dominating partner in your relationship would be the female?

That explains so much....

A&M fans are always calm and collected.

LSU fans always seem pissed off and angry for some reason. I guess it's the water over there idk

Look let's get this straight, LSU hates most every other SEC school, but LSU's only legit rival is LSU.

Aggie is the only one who brags about beating LSU in the 90's
