Sometimes a team is a better and you lose.

Its called sports.

They lost 4 fricking games throughout the season.

I wish the baws on the Tiger Rant could understand this.

Good luck to Florida and A&M today.

Dang it, but I have to agree, they don't seem to be playing the same game everyone else is playing. Maybe wickedly good pitching can beat them.

I would bet that they are a pretty good team at the start of the day; and in the middle!

OSU is scary good. It will be tough to come back out of the loser's bracket and have to beat them twice.

They are solid. I heard them say that OSU has something like 531 hits on the year and 385 of those were singles.....or some shite like that. They just give you a slow painful death.

Definitely solid team from top to bottom. I expected a better game from LSU but Walker's removal really hurt them and the fact that they had a awful hitting night.

It has been a while since I saw a college baseball team that good. They are solid from penthouse to outhouse.

LSU isn't out of it yet but coming out of the loser's bracket is not going to be easy in this CWS.

Oregon State is good, but the Beavers could have been had. LSU made a mental mistake on the first pitch of the game, made physical errors in the field and made dumb baserunning mistakes. All of that before the game got out of hand. You also can't win when you walk people.

LSU hit a bunch of balls hard in the first few innings right at people. And Oregon State had a couple of balls that bounced the right way. LSU was also intimidated, which I can't figure out why.

I think Oregon State is a better team and will win it all. But Fullerton had them 5-1 in the seventh the other day, and LSU was close until it just unraveled.

I don't think Oregon State is infallible. They've got a great pitching staff, but they can be had. But after Monday night's debacle, it won't be LSU that gets them.

The game was dead even until Kramer's error, and frankly we were knocking the shite out of their pitcher just right at people. It felt like the next inning was our time.

But if you give them one opportunity, they smell blood in the water and it's over with the quickness. When they get a runner on it's almost a guaranteed score.

You could almost feel it when Kramer made that frick up on a routine ball. OSU was about to make us pay dearly. Then the snowball effect kicked in.

So Rick Stockstill (Middle Tennessee State Coach) taught Missouri the same lesson

And yet, if Vanderhook doesn't prematurely pull his starter, OSU would at best be one game from elimination.
