At least Spurrier made his kick during his Heisman year

Since I followed Spurrier and UF from 1964 to 1966 when Spurrier played (frosh couldnt play back then)...Spurrier was also a punter and split duties with Hal Seymour who kicked with just a sock on his foot. Spurrier excelled in all sports while at Science Hill (sp?) High School in Johnson City, Tenn. Basketball, baseball...he was a gym rat and was all state as I recall in basketball.
