Apparently LSU as Les Miles isn't fired.

Here's the thing. 13-11 should be the benchmark for LSU. You've just been spoiled

Based on what? LSU is one of the 10 or 11 best programs in college football history.

Throw in the gimme game that LSU didn't play. LSU could win 11 games with a bowl game this year.... FIRE HIM!

if we're to accept that, then what is Ole Miss' benchmark?

Here's the thing, Nick Saban and Les Miles spoiled y'all. The norm for LSU may be slightly worse than that.

The real question is "how many of your schools thing losing 5 straight to bama acceptable?" that is the root of all of this.

Here's the thing, Saban and Miles showed everyone what LSU is capable of with the resources it has at its disposal. What LSU was before is irrelevant now. If you're running a business, is that the attitude you carry?

It has been a lot worse than that historically.

Curly Hallman and Gerry Dinardo are the norm. Saban and Les are the outliers.

Without Saban and Les, LSU's history basically mimicks Ole Miss.

LSU was 13th all time in wins before Saban. So no, not really

Auburn fans would be pretty stocked about that type of success at this point given Gus' last couple of years.

slightly? Since Ole Miss' last SEC title and before Saban arriving in Baton Rouge LSU had 3 SEC titles, 4 Sugar Bowls, and 3 Orange Bowls. Ole Miss, on average, is a fringe bowl team and has been since the early 60s
