Interesting theory. I'd say a reasonable way to test that hypothesis would be to analyze the penalties in the New Year's day bowls, BCS title games, and playoff games Bama's played under Saban.

Well damn, look at that. Bama's been penalized less than their opponents in every single one of those games except last year's playoff where each team was penalized four times.
So, using the scientific method, your hypothesis fails which means that either Bama's control of the refs reaches across all conferences or you're just a dumbass.
I'll leave it up to someone else to test those two theories, but I'm pretty sure I know what they will discover.

This has that loon Frosty Muggs written all over it LOL. Muggs was the class act that hung around an old Yuku board we both posted on and was "All IN!" while Tubby was finger waving, but admitted he was leaving the board when he knew Bama was going to break the streak. The reason?
