Damn, you'd think Bama lost if you read the amount of butthurt ITT.
Timeout, you opened this thread and your opinion is that Alabama fans are the one with the butta hurta?
Really? I mean, really?

These guys don't truly know what it's like to be the victim of ref conspiracies.
That same year, the refs swallowed their whistles on holding calls of any A&M opponent in the 3rd quarter of nearly every game. We lost huge first half leads, and it was all blamed on condition, etc. The Big Twatever was getting a pound of flesh on our way out.

This is better than the wet field bullshite Bama fans are spewing. The field was over seeded. Notice no players were noticeably wet, or any mud kicking up in the turf.

Wet, overseeded or dry, that field was a POS.

The field was over seeded.
Still, that's the first straight answer I've heard from any Aubie.

It was awful. I don't think it was nefarious or anything, because that would stupid, but the field was miserable. Not quite Tennessee's level of bad, but pretty dang close.

Amazing thing is that there was ZERO "natural" precipitation in Auburn (LINK ) from the Idaho game until the Iron bowl. Re-watched the Idaho game and the field was not breaking away like it did Saturday.

The fricking longhorns pulled that shite against A&M when Ricky "Bong Water" Williams broke the NCAA rushing record. There was no rain in Austin (a relatively arid climate) for weeks prior to the game. All the longhorn players were wearing long spikes and the field was a shitty mess.
Still. Home-field advantage. We should have been prepared with long cleats.

You sure he wasn't holding him up because of the astro-glide field?

The field was pretty much the same the Idaho game. They overseeded the grass for the winter, much like golf courses do.
Henry had a career day, but as usual bams gotta bitch about whatever they can find. Clearly the "tactic" worked in your favor.
