Byrne saying they haven't found any violations involving Alabama leads me to believe it was something that happened prior to Kobie being hired.

Yeah, hoops have definitely been dirty.

Wonder what kind of stuff they could dig up on UNC, Duke, Kentucky, UCLA, etc.

Would be fun.

Makes me think he had some connection to someone involved in the scandal and bama didn't think keeping him was worth it if it comes out he had ties to the person.

Could definitely be

Or maybe he creates fake invoices and gives all our players hundreds of thousands of dollars on a weekly basis.

Welcome, Bama fans. The more misery the better.
I don't think there's going to a lack of misery for anyone.

Sounds like a violation, which Byrne says they haven't found.

At Bama they call it the process, so it's not a violation.

I'm wondering if he may have been mixed up with the Atlanta suit guy or something.

Could be. He isn't just in hoops either. I read in one story that on draft night Leonard Fournette and DeShaun Watson were wearing his suits.

He is the guy in this mess most likely to fall up some stairs.

So now we know he was on the Chuck Person supplemental income plan.

Unlike Person, he wasn't charged. Don't know what that means, but I devoutly hope it means he didn't pass any money along to Sexton.

It means he was lucky enough to be getting money from a financial advisor that wasn't also a cooperating witness with the FBI.

Yep, because Chuck was running the show.

This was all a ruse just to bust bama. shhhhhhhh

Now it's bama's turn to spin things.

No, I think it was the same guy. Based on the Tuscaloosa News story, it sounds like Person set up the meeting and the whole thing is recorded.

We may have just got lucky that our guy was too greedy to share the loot.

That comment was very tongue in cheek, but if I read the story right Chuck did set up the meeting between the agent and our crook.

Last I checked, no one from Bama has been arrested.
