As camps open, what question marks are you looking to be answered?

The Rebs biggest question is motivation and that can't be answered in camp. Otherwise we still need to identify a two deep of competent linebackers. I'm wondering if any of the incoming freshmen will be able to contribute at that spot.

Agreed. The biggest question from OM camp is the 2-deep at LB. Absolutely

How big of a drop will we see in our DL rotation's production vs. last year's.

Does MSU have any talent that can play on the perimeter or in open space, on both sides of the ball?

Will our defense be improved?
Will Whaley actually step up to the plate as RB1?
Why hasn't Jeff Long returned my calls?

All of them.

Will our offensive line be better then last year? They couldn't be worse could they? Will the change to a 3-4 blow up in our faces? Has Austin Allen recovered from the season long mauling he took last year thanks to poor offensive line play?

Most importantly will having a newborn at home cause Bert to coach hard every week so he can get away from changing diapers?

How the new offense will be adopted by Etling, the receivers and backs.

Who steps up in place of Key in his absence.

LB Corps as a whole, what will it shape up to be.

Entire DB corps, tons of competition, especially at safety

My two biggest questions for the season:

1) Will Jarrett Stidham be successful against SEC competition and live up to the hype?
2) Has Gus truly relinquished control of the offense.

If so, I truly believe AU can win the SEC.

Will our recievers, dline, oline, and corners step up, or will it be another long season?

The Bama offense comes back nearly intact from a season ago. Looks to be an open spot at RT, maybe some shuffling on the right side of the OL. OJ Howard will be tough to replace (personally, I don't think we used him enough in the passing game but he was a tremendous blocker as well). Might have a young guy pushing for a WR spot.

Defense will be a lot more interesting. Two of the DL spots seem to be locked down by Payne and Hand, but obviously its good to have 6 or 7-man rotation. A couple of OLB spots are open. And a corner spot appears to be open (not sure if Fitzpatrick will slide back to CB or stay at S). It'll be interesting to see which young LBs can get in the rotation.

Totally forgot to add, kicker. Griffith was by no means 'great' but he was pretty reliable from 40 in. Bama brought in a freshman and also has an OM transfer. I think everybody is aware of how the kicking game has cost us a couple of games over the past few years

Two questions:

Can Eason improve in his accuracy and decision making? It remains to be seen how much flexibility he will be given at the LOS. I think for the most part he was not given the option to check, and if he can it would help the offense.

Who will emerge as starting Oline? Wynn and LT and Gaillard at C seem to be set, but the rest is up for grabs and will probably have two Frosh as starters.
