Martrell Spaight

In case some of you forgot the nightmare this dude was

One of the most humble people. Met him at Burger 21 in Ashburn, VA today. Couldn't tell you what he ordered, but that young man has not missed a day in the gym. He looked like the Hawk.

He was so surprised that I knew he was even in the league. Told us he was honored anybody knew he was. I didn't realize that he was sidelined after a concussion last year.

Seemed like a very good representative of you school since half the rest of you ain't sht. JK.

Dude's one of the best to ever wear the Hog uniform, but we only had him at his best for one season. Wish we could have got 1 more out of him.

I'm kind of glad you only had him for one season.

Was one of my favorite players in a long time. That '14 defense Bermuda triangle with Spaight, Flowers, and Philon was incredible.

He's honestly one of my favorite hogs of all time, and that's from 1 season of production. You don't see many players with the same passion on the field as him. Glad you had a good experience

I texted my buddy here that I had met Martrell, since my buddy is the biggest Skins fan I've ever met. He couldn't recall who he was or that he was drafted by them.

I think that'll probably change real soon.

Speight was a hard hitter for sure and a great teammate.

I've never met him in person, but from talking to those that have they say he's a really nice guy off the field. A lot of good kids come through the SEC I'm happy to say.
