It goes on to say we won't make top 16 regardless, that's amazing.

Arkansas isn't hosting, bro. Get over it. Auburn plays Florida the final series of the season. You need Auburn to win to move ahead of Florida. However, if we win, then we possibly move ahead of you. Auburn already has a top 20 rpi

Auburn has almost zero chance of moving in front of the hogs. The hogs hosting is much more likely

Auburn is 3-4 in SEC series this year and currently has a losing record in league play.
Auburn should be focusing on just making the SEC tourney at this point.

Looks like Kendall Rogers is on the hosting chances bandwagon for Arkansas now...

Suddenly, Arkansas has climbed all the way up to No. 35 in the RPI. On March 25, right before this six-series winning streak began, the Hogs were way down at No. 124 in the RPI, so their rise has been downright meteoric. They have also improved to 14-10 in the SEC, good enough for fourth place in the conference’s overall standings, with very winnable series left against league bottom-feeders Tennessee and Georgia. It’s easy to envision Arkansas reaching 18 or 19 wins in SEC play and finishing the season on an eight-series winning streak. If that happens, it will be tough for the selection committee to deny the Hogs a hosting spot, even if their RPI is outside the top 16 (and the Boyd’s World RPI Needs Report says they currently have no way to reach the top 16 by the end of the regular season).

The only problem is that play Georgia and Tennessee won't help your RPI much. But I could see Arkansas sneaking in as a host site. Especially if a couple of teams above them in the pecking order start to falter.

Not gonna lie, I was convinced we sucked arse this year and would miss the regionals all together. They've put it together and are playing well though.
