UGA #1

Not a knock on UGA's OL, but IMHO there isn't an OL in college football as good as Arkansas'.

Some other interesting rankings: DBs, WRs, Overall Players

Arkansas is without a doubt the best for run blocking IMO. They aren't as effective in pass pro though and that would be my knock on them, still a fantastic OL

Arkansas OL is the most overrated position group in college football.

Running the ball I would probably agree. Haven't seen them pass enough to say they are the total package though.

Could argue against this for days but needless to say it's all opinions anyways. Our OLine will allow the least sacks and support a top 15 rushing attack so stats will say they are one of the best if not the best.

They were like 9th in yards per carry against SEC opponents.

I think their DL played a bigger part In their moderate success last year.

I'm nitpicking, they just seem to be not quite as good at pass pro, at least in the games I watched. Still a great OL

We weren't as athletic last year as we needed to be. Hurt us in pass pro and screen plays. But they've trimmed down a lot this year.

^^Every "Athlon Sports" article, ever.

It's the Clay Travis of "sports news" sites.

Our backs were very consistent but never broke any really big runs like the other backs in the league. We also had a dumbshit OC running toss sweeps to the short side of the field and reverses on short yardage downs.

What screen plays? I don't remember a single screen last season.

Our RG is now our LT and our LT is now our RT so it remains to be seen if that experiment is going to work or not, so no one really knows.

I do think Skipper at RT is an upgrade to Brey Cook the lone graduate off last year's line.

The four returners s/b better than they were last year and the new addition to the line is Frank Ragnow who was a blue chip recruit and will not be a weak link.

I don't know if we will be improved or not due to the change in positions, only that we will dominate a&m on the line of scrimmage, even more than normal this year.

Ragnow got plenty of playing time last season, He's experienced.

Well, it was difficult to recover in that stat line when we started the SEC season only gaining 285 rushing yards against a&m and a measly 6.1 yards per carry.

Yes. Played as a true freshman, at center.

He's a smart player who has no trouble playing multiple positions.

We know that UNC and South Carolina don't have studly offensive line units.

We will see how UGA and Arky look soon.
