After exhibiting a horrendous 7-23 conference record and being swept by 6 different SEC opponents, the Arkansas Razorbacks season has come to a likely end.

To be honest we are just glad this nightmare of a season is over. Y'all can do your best to troll us on this one... but it was pretty clear fairly early in the season this was not going to be our year. We've been resigned to this for quite some time.

The Hogs got swept by Missouri State this year who didn't have double digit wins in conference.
I don't know what the hell happened to either team.
Why did they move Jackson? Was the desperation that bad for starting pitching?

Good riddance to this season. It couldn't have gotten much worse. Truly an anomaly in the DVH era.

Had to be a LONG season for that team. I thought they showed well in Baton Rouge a few weeks back, but that 8 run lead that was lost was probably the epitome of their season. I did enjoy watching Ichiro play second base for them in the series.

MSU went from worst to first.
Maybe the Hogs can next season.
But I watched some of the MSU series and at times , defensively, it looked like the team had pretty much quit

Piss poor roster management that started with DVH taking a few years off in recruiting and his inability to replace and upgrade assistant coaches.
But he knows he will never be fired, so why strive for any greater? This team was a direct reflection of the head coach and a year anyone paying attention could see coming.
You can't always luck your way to Omaha in a year with no expectations (or the SEC-T apparently).

Any year that we made the CWS is considered a good year. I hate it for DVH because he is a great coach.
