How's David Williams looking in practice reports so far, out of curiosity? That dude was straight garbage for us for years and was seeing if a change of scenery helped him out any

From what I have read either the 3rd or 4th option. I'm sure we will need him at some point in the season due to losing Williams earlier this spring. Just looking for him to give us some extra depth at that position.

He looks like a hybrid of Darren McFadden and Bo Jackson. Enos had to rebuild the offense around him after the first practice.

He will be third on the depth chart behind Whaley and Chase Hayden(true freshman) by midseason.

He's supposedly looked pretty good. I'm sure he'll be in the mix for carries behind Whaley

He'll help. Seems to bring a great attitude and has been accepted well.

I look for him to go for a buck fity in Columbia. Not much for an Arkansas back against the cocks. I think McFadden went for like 500 yards in one game and Spurrier blew a gasket.

He's still running...

Take a chill pill bro.

For real, it's been reported that Williams is like a Fred Talley/Bill Goldberg hybrid.

He will probably get some playing time as a situational back. Supposedly he is doing decent at picking up blocks in the passing game so that is likely to be his niche role.

If he becomes the featured back then it means the injury bug has once again gone bonkers on us.

Remember George Rogers? Yeah, he makes George look like Mr. Rogers.

From what I've read is he is basically second on depth chart. But in Bielema's system that doesn't mean much, as he likes to run three. Two every down type backs and one change of pace back. Williams is the second every down type back we have.

Expect Chase Hayden to get triple the yardage Williams gets, but his skill set is different. He is a shifty, speed type guy while Williams is more a straight north south runner who is good in pass protection.

I would honestly expect to see Williams fill the Kody Walker role at Arkansas, but do it better. He is faster than Walker.

He will probably have 500 yards or so this season. Whaley and Hayden will both go for 1,000 or more.

The honest answer is he has looked as if he can contribute. A bit faster than I thought, but nothing fantastic. We'll just have to see how it goes.

He'll probably be in the game a lot on third downs since he's apparently looked good at blocking and catching the ball out of the backfield, but I would expect Whaley and probably Hayden to get the ball in the run game more
