I have been to Fayetteville for three games in the last seven years. The campus is nice; a lot of stuff to do along Dickson Street; great overall atmosphere for a game.
I was in Little Rock recently. In my honest opinion, the city is blah, and everything around War Memorial is a blah.
It seems there is a game each season, sometimes two games a season at War Memorial. I'd be mad as an Arkansas fan. It's depressing.
Are Arkansas fans ok with games being there sometimes because of being centrally located? Or would you all prefer to have all your home games in Fayetteville?
Just curious.....
Always enjoy getting food at Hog Haus!

I was in until your Hog Haus comment. Hasn't been good in over ten years. Surprised it is still open.
As for Little Rock, I grew up there and saw my first games there. Enjoyed going back and seeing friends at games a couple times a year but it is a liability especially since we play a&am in Dallas every year. The argument is rehashed every off season and I understand and appreciate each viewport and ultimately don't care how it turns out.

Little Rocj games are done after the North end zone expansion that starts after this season.

To back track a bit, historically night games were held in LR as well as quite of few "big games" per year. LR was the central hub of the city and was substantially larger than NWA and the stadium was larger too. Since that time NWA has grown, NWA is far better connected to the world, and DWR stadium is a lot bigger than WMS. There is a plan to move all games from LR, there is only one SEC game left on the contract and it will almost certainly be Vandy. I'm sure at some point we will play LA Monroe there as a "road" game with LA Monroe handling the details with WMS, but other than that we will never play there again.

I went in 2010 vs. Alabama and 2011 vs. Tennessee; Hog Haus wasn't bad for me. Those damn wings though were extremely hot, to the point I needed milk.
There's also a grilled cheese place that was really good. They had a lot of varieties.
My bad on not knowing about the War Memorial situation. Obviously I am not in the SEC Now of things.

Hammontrees is the name of the grilled cheese joint. Good stuff.
Don't care about the stadium debate. It will be whatever it will be.

I'm in the minority in that I want at least 1 game in LR every year.
However, LR and War Memorial haven't done enough to keep that stadium viable. We lose a ton of money playing there and it's become a thorn in the side of the team lately.
I'm old school and I liked that we used to play basketball games in Pine Bluff and Hot Springs. I think as a small poor state our flagship university could and should really try to be accessible to people in our state that have difficulty traveling to Fayetteville.
What's it really hurt to play a game in LR, play a couple basketball games in El Dorado, Fort Smith or Texarkana, play baseball in Pine Bluff and NLR? Those communities need to show out and show that they really want to host a game.
I think those off campus games would be a great marketing tool to attract students to Fayetteville.
