Another year wiser and stronger.

Why aren't we fearing him more?

I'm tuning in to every Arky game to watch this kid

Good player but he won't have the numbers and Arkansas won't win enough games

Typically the heisman winner comes from a team which won a lot of games. Austin Allen is a great QB, but he plays for Arkansas.

Because the line can't protect him

Even if he throws for 5000 yards and 50 TDs Arkansas won't win enough games for him to even be invited.

That's a pretty dumb idea..

Considering we'd only need to win 8 games. If he throws for 5k yards and 50 TDs we're winning more than 8 games :)

If he threw for 5000 and 50 TDs, that would equal 10 wins.

Poor line play last year and an uncertain situation at RB.

There you have it. I think he will have a good year but those factors will keep him out of the Heisman Watch unless he puts his thang down early and often.

I forgot about that firecracker RB quitting, did he have an injury?

He is better than Johnny Manizel.

Broke his neck in 2015 and hurt it again in the spring game this year. Retired from football afterwards.

Don't think he has Heisman numbers unless our O line drastically improves.

Tough as nails QB, but he is not Heisman good.

I personally like him and he definitely elevates Arkansas, but it won't be enough to help him win. Not on a 7 loss team

Before last season, a NFL scout that is a friend attended the Manning Camp. He told me Austin Allen was the most NFL ready QB he watched. I didn't believe it.

Austin Allen is one of the best, but won't win a Heisman. If he gets into the Heisman talk, the Hogs will have to have a special season. I'm all for it.

Heisman QBs don't typically lose games 56-3 either

He's a very good QB. I just don't think he can overcome his team. QBs don't get the same leeway with their teams record that RBs do
