Poor guy spent three years up there and had to endure losses to Rutgers, Texas Tech and (Holy) Toledo.
Also had to live with losing records in the SEC West:
bama- 0-3
aTm- 0-3 (everybody has beaten aTm in the West)
Auburn- 1-2
MSU- 1-2
But that's ok, his coach has a two game winning streak against LSU and is making 4+mil a year with a 7-17 SEC record.

Wait, ya'll hired one of our Graduate Assistants to be your O-line coach?
I'm sure Mateos will be a good coach one day, but could LSU not find anyone with any experience?

Nope...thats an LSU thing.
We hire head coaches for coordinator spots and look to the NFL for our assistants.

They hired Mateos as the equivalent of a Quality Control coach. He wasn't hired to be their actual OL coach.
