This will be horrible. Not because of Jeff along but the BCS formula was great at determining ranking because bit was made of hundreds of opinion and also objective criteria as we'll. this new thing will likely boil down to personal agendas, biased opinions and corruption. CFB is eating itself alive.

If we're gonna determine who receives playoff spots by using a small group, rather then using computers or large polls, I guess it's good to have a representative on the committee.

I like it, he has proven his integrity when he let Petrino go, he didn't have to but it was the right thing to do. Hogs were on the climb as a program and have taken a huge hit since.

Even though some of the computer rankings were horrible, I still agree with you. It amazes me how anyone could see this as better.

I don't see why they couldn't persuade the FWAA and AP to join and just use the aggregate of the those two plus Coaches poll after championship Saturday.

They will ruin this sport within ten tears and people will quit caring. It will turn into what college baseball has become if this new system goes as badly as I think it will. I like college baseball but I just mean it is followed by very few as compared to football and basketball.

To a degree, yes. But once this expands to 6 or 8 teams, it's clear the best team will be left standing. There is a marked drop off after the 5the team most years anyway.
