a buddy (Texas fan) tried to tell me the SEC was down this year vs the Big 12. I then asked him to give me the Big 12's three best teams, he said OU, UT, WVU.

Then we agreed those three teams were on par with three SEC schools Florida, USCe and Georgia.

then i asked him where does Bama or LSU rank.

he smiled and took a sip of his beer.

Big 12>SEC

SEC sucks this year outside of BAMA/LSU

Silly kids believe the Austin media talking points. Thankfully some surface level common sense debunks 'em.

Bama and LSU are in another conference this year, just like last year.

Big 12 probably is the third best conference behind the SEC and Pac 12.

Texas, OU, West Virginia are top 15 teams.

TCU, Oklahoma State, Texas Tech, and Baylor are average to good teams.

You forgot about K State, who are another Top 15 team.

I'd say average period. We are talking about a team in Oklahoma State that blows out high school teams to say "Hey look at us we scored 70+ points", then gets killed by a Pac 12 team. TCU? They beat powerhouse Kansas 20-6. Texas Tech I have no seen them play or care, but I'm sure they have beaten high school teams soundly. Baylor? Baylor gave up 500 yards to fricking SMU. Yea, they look good when you look at their records, but that conference is a POS.

Asides Bama and LSU, y'all really think that teams like Florida, Georgia, UT, South Carolina, hell even A&M and MSU would lose to their equivalents in the Dwarf 10?
