Are you impressed with the ACC and their 6 Sweet 16 teams?

I am not. First, they are including Notre Dame and Syracuse. No matter what, I don't consider them real ACC teams, especially Notre Dame.

But, this who they beat to get into the Sweet 16:

Yale (Go to Hale Yale)
Witchita St (Play-in winner)
SF Austin
Providence
Butler
Middle Tennessee

1st Round
Dayton
Hampton
Florida Gulf Coast
Michigan (Play-in winner)
Buffalo
UNC Wilmington

I say, good for them, they have 6 teams in the Sweet 16 while the SEC sux this year and we have 1. But, all this talk of how great they are and a superior accomplishment is just a bunch of silly talk.

Why wouldn't they be real ACC teams? They play a full ACC schedule. Should they not awarded higher seeds and play lesser competition for getting it done in the regular season? Our one remaining SEC team hasn't played anyone tough yet.

I agree they had some fortunate second round matchups, but they won them. Those teams they beat generally beat teams from other Power conferences to get where they were.

I am, just as I am impressed with the SEC's showing in football typically.

I am impressed by Syracuse, ND and Miami. UNC and UVA did what they were supposed to do, so that's status quo. Duke slipped through their first game and then got an Ivy in the 2nd round.

Still gotta win your games

Stopped reading after this. Figured my time was better spent insulting you than reading the rest of your babble.

They're the top conference in CBB right now. I don't see where that's debatable. They've also played some tough "Cinderellas" that may have been poorly seeded to begin with.

are you still including cuse as part of the Big East? Cause we've been in the ACC for several years now and it's been just as if not more exciting for basketball than when we were in the big east. ACC has always been a power basketball conference just as the SEC is a power football conference.

the flip side the Pac-12 has shown how poor and overrated they were. They almost didn't have any of their 7 teams make it out of the first weekend and they were all seeded pretty high.

Utah looked like a turd sandwich. same with arizona

I guess the SECs only team is not a real SEC team. 6 of 16 is pretty impressive.

Honestly, your argument would better apply if it were the SEC who had accomplished this.

Shitting on the ACC as if they aren't a dominant, history-rich basketball conference just comes off as bitter.

Yes - it is very impressive. Add it to their well rounded regular season and it is just adds to the resume of what is the deepest basketball league in the country.

Keep in mind Louisville should have also been in the tournament by resume/talent level if not for the NCAA issues.

Not surprised. The ACC is to basketball what the SEC is to football.

this. I wish from top to bottom the SEC was better. The SEC has been pretty bad for a while now.

All the teams you listed were/are better than 95% of the SEC.

The ACC has always been a basketball power conference. There is absolutely no sane reason to put them down.
