Are you guys grateful to be in the SEC?

I love being a part of this conference.
We ARE The South. Our Universities thrive from Texas and Missouri to the West to Kentucky and Tennessee to the North and Florida, Georgia and Alabama, Auburn, Ole Miss and Mississippi State in the Deep South.
So why has this site become so much of a place of constant bashing over the past few years?
It is really hard to enjoy this site any longer unless you really expect to read a "trash another SEC School" post in the first place.
Why? This is about knowing more and appreciating sports in our own conference. This site has become cheap and disappointing in that regard.

But the constant bashing on each other is one of the two things that make our conference. The other thing is the combining of forces when it comes to the rest of the country. We hate each other... but hate other teams, conferences, etc., way more. It really is a beautiful thing.

Eh, it's all in good fun ultimately. One thing is for sure. If you wanna see SEC unity, wait for an outsider to come in here talking shite.

I'm thankful for all the money UK gets because we're part of the greatest conference in the country.

Some of us don't appreciate it when our "brethren" use burner phones, free cars, back packs of cash, fake ACT scores, and sloots as recruiting tools and then brag about it.

Let me just say that if LSU were ever to leave the SEC, then Auburn would not be far behind lol. Too many fun times between us two.

Yes, being in the SEC is a beautiful thing. I like Sewanee and Tulane too! I respect the academics at Georgia tech but after they left the SEC in sports, they are kind of dead to me.

The Sec is unique. It's the only conference you can belong to and hate each other yet when one of our own has something big on the line you hear the chants SEC! SEC! SEC!

Really looking forward to traveling to Ole Miss and Mississippi State in the future. Those guys have really stepped things up and have left Jordan Hare and Auburn in the dust as far as renovations are concerned. Jealous that they are taking things more seriously, but you have to give credit where credit is due.

I was in the SEC. I ran out of eligibility several years ago.
