Louisiana has mandatory helmet laws, seems like all the stars are aligned for this to happen.

That's not our problem. We just need one that can line up correctly and execute the plays. That and a coaching staff who will make any sort of modification if the defense takes away what we plan to run.

I can think of another coach that has been at both A&M and Alabama......and he just became available. He's worth a look.

Petrino could get a better DC @ LSU than he could at Arky.
He's not much a recruiter though and his history of firebombing programs on the way out is troubling. Also reportedly one of the biggest TPOS in the sport.
We could do worse though.
