Please stop. YOu obviously have not been to a game recently in DWS, because you would realize that when the center is over the ball the bells stop and the yelling starts.

Any school that has their band mic'd up (LSU doesn't) is broadcasting crowd noise over the PA, intentionally or not.
It's ironic that a UF fan started this thread when they are one of the schools that has always done it.

Incorrect. Always is an absolute. UF has not always done it.
Absolutes are for the weak minded in my experience. Girls use absolutes a lot too though. You NEVER return my calls. You ALWAYS forget about my birthday.
Also, the OP didn't reference mics. It was about noise makers like keys and cowbells or boom sticks and the like.
