Are the stadiums in the SEC secure enough?

Just pondering this in light of the somewhat regular terrorist acts overseas. I don't want hassle upon entry any more than the next person but I do think about worst case situations.
I remember heightened security after 9/11 but things gradually returned to the norm.

A jihad would stick out like a sore thumb in Starkville, MS.

I beg to differ, you were harboring ISIS members

It would not be hard to sneak a gun in to BDS even in the normal seats

They seem to be more heightened as of late as far as security goes. In my experience they seem really secure.

They weren't middle eastern...I'm talkin about the actual suicide/terror jihads.

The Swamp is about as secure as you can get for a sports team's stadium.
The amount of cops all over the place on Gamedays is insane.

The more I think about it, the more it scares me. A terrorist would not even have to go in the stadium, just wait outside for the masses to leave at the end (or halftime in Baton Rouge ).
There are very very high concentrations of people leaving games all at once in very non-secured areas. Very scary honestly.

Most security, real security not "don't party too hard" security, starts at the ticket gates.
That means unlimited access to the surrounding area where before getting to those ticket gates the targets are necessarily in that zone.
If the stadium (and it's occupants) are the target, it's nearly unlimited access up to the point security starts with no response time between breaching that first layer and reaching targets.
So no, not near secure enough.
I don't think there is a way to secure them outside the stadium. Only react and hope for the best.

I heard that jihad attacks during ramadan is believed to give them higher favor in their next journey to their heaven. Maybe double the virgins or some shite. So it doesn't end until june 25th this year so don't be surprised to hear more over the next few weeks.
This version is scarier as law enforcement monitoring is harder when they are using vehicles, and knives. No "control" laws over those to get on the radar.

There is a police presence at LSU football games but they're mostly there for traffic and dealing with drunks. Setting up choke points and zones for crowd control and for creating a protective area would be ideal. Having bag checks and detector wands at these choke points way before you reach the stadium would keep it secure.
That being said, it would be very difficult to implement and there would have to be a lot more police than there are now, not to mention the cost in materials.

Anyone could stand right outside any SEC stadium with a bomb attached to himself and create a scene just as bad or worse that we saw in the UK
Sucks, but that is the truth

I think Muslims would stick out like a sore thumb at SEC venues. Would be easy to recognize and have the police all over them. (Not meant to be racist but its just the honest truth)

Recent attacks have found the weak point in security. The Orlando airport shooting happened in baggage claim. Other airport attacks have happened in the check-in areas. All outside security.
The Ariana Grande attack happened at the end of the concert when gates were opened and people were leaving.
A football game, especially a big SEC game would have well over 100,000 people outside the stadium tailgating. I'd imagine a rented Uhaul barreling through campus would be a nightmare. There would also be a high concentration of thousands of people entering the stadium.

attacks usually happen where there are large unintegrated muslim populations, very few SEC venues are in those areas, as of now.

That reminded me of an Onion piece that was done after 9-11. This is good stuff.

"Eventually, we'll settle on an eternal and unending task for them," said Lord Androalphus, High Praetor of Excruciations. "But for now, everyone down here wants a crack at them. The legions of fang-wombed hags will take their pleasure on their shattered carcasses for most of this afternoon. Tomorrow, their flesh will be melted from their bones like wax in the burning embrace of the Mother of Cowards. The day after that, they'll be sodomized by the Fallen and their bowels shredded by a demonic ejaculate of burning sand. Then, on Sunday, Satan gets them all day. I can't even imagine what he's got cooked up for them."

Did t seem terriblt secure the last Florida game I went but shite that was 19 years ago so I'd assume it's beefed up quite s bit. But unfortunately where there's an evil will there's a way

Very little security at all. There are so many bunches of people right outside the stadium that an attack would cause massive casualties. Think about how many teams have events like Tiger Walk.
