Are LSU fans worried about Antonio Blakeney and his recruitment by Lousiville?

Curious, his name is being brought up in this scandal. Surely the NCAA would offer immunity to get dirt on Louisville.

I won't give a shite about basketball for another 3 months. Sorry.

Why would we be worried?

He did nothing illegal, they are questioning him to ask about what he saw. This is something that will only be getting UL in trouble basically. He didnt go there...
Only way he'd be in trouble is if he took money or something.

Because Antonio Blakeney has been named specifically as allegedly receiving the services of a prostitute paid for by an UofL assistant in this whole book deal mess.
Personally, I hope the kid gets immunity. And some penicillin.

nope. Not even a little worried. He was interviewed by the NCAA last week, but he is in the clear.

Football season and UK fans talking about basketball. Par for the course.

Does he play quarterback?

LSU shouldn't be worried. But, his name is being brought up as one of the recruits who was involved. Keep in mind, the cover up is what gets programs, coaches, and players in trouble. I am sure he is worried about losing eligilibity because what went down while he was being recruited by UL.
Surely some scuttlebutt is floating in Baton Rouge what he told the NCAA investigators.

If he received the prostitute as a way to sway his recruitment and it was via UofL, it could effect his eligibility because it's receiving a benefit. I imagine though if he did, your AD would be smart enough to tell him to request immunity for info.
I think the bigger issue may end up being that there are apparently girls as young as 14-15 involved.

The horror of multitasking.
Do you talk about baseball during basketball season? Surely not.

And WDRB (local news) just sent out a news text stating that local prosecutors are consulting with LMPD regarding possible charges related to the book's allegations.
If it is prostitution charges, it could all end up in a court as evidence.

Trophies are not given for participating in the NCAAs.
