Or is it just because their team is down this year? The stadium was 90% empty last night. I was pretty shocked to see that.

Wasn't the weather a factor?

Apparently the Flagship should be changed to the Frontship. Frontrunner status achieved. For awhile, the theory was the weather was keeping them away. Now, it appears the bullpen is the culprit. They'll be much better next year when they get some experience on the pitching staff.

Well Arkansas fans usually do, thus the question.

If by not bundled up you mean ski gear you are correct. Cold, wet, tornadoes the night before all had something to do with the crowd I'm sure

The way they are playing doesn't help for sure, but when the sun comes out the fans will also

Edit to say the fAct it was on national tv didn't help the crowd either

630 Thursday night start spring break week with temps near 40

It being on ESPNU certainly didn't help the attendance. Those who didn't sleep well with storms night prior could stay out of the cold at home and sleep.

Here are the highlights. The fans are in long sleeves but mostly just light coats. The players are in short sleeves. It doesnt look at all wet.

Maybe when i saw a shot of the stands it was still filling up due to the 6pm start. It was the 2nd inning or so.

That definitely wasn't the narrative a couple years ago

The grandstands were 90% empty when i saw it. Maybe the early start but do students usually sit in the grandstands? I would think they would be priced out of those seats.

It's still not the narrative. Hog fans love their baseball and rank towards the top of attendance every year. Nothing has changed

When the product is bad, the fans don't show up. Kind of like Lsu football.

Yeah, we have several posters on here that just don't like baseball, but feel the need to post in every baseball thread

It fits the narrative of this whole site. Be a complete dick and try to be funny to make a name for yourself. Be as fanatical as possible and maybe you will get an up vote.

Same reason this site mostly toils in its own feces rather than encouraging actual sports talk

It's just been painful to watch this season. Should be a better crowd tonight with a great pitching matchup.
