The only ones I know are Tom Ritter, Doyle Jackson, Wagers, and Teddy V.

The point being, I only know them because of how terrible they are.

The best refs are the ones that are practically invisible.

If nobody is mentioning you, you're doing a good job.

It's one of those jobs.

Tom Ritter is horrendously biased and/or paid off.

That was pretty much my line of thinking.

They're basically like offensive linemen.

Teddy V is the only one who is a complete idiot. He's a good official with his play calling, but his antic get him the negative notoriety. The only reason you know the rest is because they are always on the big games. Bitching at the white hat is stupid, bitch at his crew who has the majority of the calls.

Anyone know how much these guys make? You would have to pay me at least 200 grand to do that job with all the psychos out there who send death threats and truly believe you are part of some conspiracy against their team.

Hell just yesterday diddydirtyaubie was posting that he has found Penn Wager's private email address.

No way on earth I would submit myself to what these guys deal with for 1,600 a game. Ritter would have to wear shades in a Louisiana Walmart to get out alive.

Why do people expect elite officiating with perfect accuracy from a guy making 10-15 grand a year in a part time job?

If the SEC and it's fans want the smartest and most competent people as officials, give them a 150,000 salary full time with year round training.
