Easy way to prove this is to have a Hog poster go to the East Side Grill and wait for Bert to show up. Facebook Live feed just for us.

Bert is NOT an alcoholic....
He just really really loves grilled chicken with bourbon, bacon-wrapped grilled quail with bourbon, bourbon-glazed grilled fruit, grilled sirloin with a bourbon marinade, some grilled baby-back ribs with mustard-bourbon sauce, and grilled bourbon salmon.
Of course, that's what a typical meal for Bert includes on any given night, so often after being done eating, he can be a little blotto afterwards, but he is most definitely NOT an alcoholic....

It's good to know that if I ever get chased away from central Fayetteville by continued bad commercial development and motorcycle noise, I can find a place like that to hang out and get fall-down drunk.

I remember the Eddie Sutton days in the 70's.Word of mouth was he had a drinking problem.I heard this in se Arkansas as far away from Fayetteville as one can get.No internet then.Eddie did have a problem and I hated to hear it.
If Bret has this type of problem I have no doubt we all would have known it by now,internet or not.The hell with those who live such pathetic lives that they feel the need to try to ruin someone's life who is actually making something of themselves and the players who are in his charge.

I've run into Bret at Grillehouse and Whole Foods.
It isn't that big of a town. If he was passing out at East Side Grill, which as far as I know is a neighborhood type place on the rich side of town, there'd be video and instagram of it.
