How is alabama and mizzou higher than Arkansas? They don't even have a final four
Posted on 3/29/17 at 12:33 pm to Gcockboi
Because Alabama and Mizzou have better basketball programs than Arkansas historically.

Why? The list is even more laughable after going over it a second time. They have programs all over the place. Bama isn't even a top 50 program historically

You are asking for a justification and they explain everything in the link. frick, I even posted it on page 3.

It doesn't include tournament results. There is no AP poll after the tournament.

Kentucky has won 8 National Championships with 5 different coaches in 5 different decades (6 if you consider their 1933 Helms Title as UNC does). They lead all schools in NCAA Tournament appearances, tournament wins, Sweet 16 appearances, and Elite Eight appearances. They're the top D-1 program in history in all-time winning percentage and all-time wins.
Program > Wooden's dynasty
Not sure why this is a struggle for people. 95% of their success was in one 12 year period. I'm not discounting it at all, but all time rankings are all time rankings.

I think us making the top 100 is one of the most shocking things I've seen anywhere.
And there's people that actively want to fire the guy responsible for 40% of our NCAA tournament victories and 25% of our appearances.

Get ranked more and you'll move up.

So these rankings are essentially based on regular season success, and take none of the postseason into consideration

What is the point of this list? I am making one and it will be based on which team colors are the most Mardi Gras related

What's that got to do with basketball? If anything, frick Bobby Knight. If not for his undefeated team, we might have a national championship.

I'm just trying to understand it
Had to be a safe spacer ruined by a poopstika that made the list
"Don't use postseason success!!! Participation in the regular season is what matters!!!!"
