They're really trying to push the Pac-12 and ACC this year.

People complaining about UF being ranked really do need to keep in mind that AP voters aren't the most diligent viewers of CFB, so they are frequently just going by results and news blurbs and UF lost to a ranked team while very publicly shorthanded due to suspensions. They didn't look good (the D was okay) but it wasn't the worst loss in the world.

What AP member embarrassed themselves and gave Ohio St. a #1 vote?

They're more diligent than the coaches are. Regardless, the Florida game was one of the bigger matchups of the weekend and was in a time slot where not a lot of other games were being played, big games at least. i doubt seriously many of the voters just looked up the box score with this game.

Why the frick did LSU, AU, and UGA stay the same when all of us won our games handily? I guess it's because not many top 15 teams lost.

We must have been watching different games.
Michigan owned that game outside of two plays. Back to back interceptions. Other than that it was all Michigan, all day. Even on offense. They absolutely torched Florida all over the field, and did it returning only five starters.

Florida is garbage. People shouldn't be surprised either, that anonymous SEC coaches article told us all we need to know about Florida. McSharkfricker Buttertooth (or as I like to call him, Double Plaquenum) isn't respected by his peers. They all said Florida sucks and they do.

That's exactly why. The only top 15 team that lost was FSU

Granted, but there's something like 60 of them,so it's not hard to imagine quite a few of them didn't watch the game or didn't watch it closely or even just kinda lost track of the take-aways amidst the opening week chaos. Regardless, the second part of my post still remains a likely factor.
