To watch games away from home? How were they? I'll be away from home Sat and need a way to watch the game.
Also thought about streaming it on my phone and buying the adapter so it'd show on my tv but I'm not sure how well cell service is there.

I use one and it works great. As long as you live somewhat close to the towers you should be fine.

I use one at home to watch games on my deck/patio. It works great, but I'm in the city. Not sure how well it'd work out in the boonies.

I've got one at my office that I use when working sometimes. It works really well, but I'm also in the city.

You can go to this site.

Put in your address and it will tell you how strong the signals are and whether you can pick them up easily. I live in Northport and can't get much with a digital antenna on the ground. Probably bc most of our stations come out of Birmingham. ABC 33/40 has a repeater in Tuscaloosa and I can get it sometimes.

I use a digital antenna, and use my parents cable info for the ESPN app on my Xbox and I can watch any game I want. Only games I don't get are ones that come on BTN, but I'm okay with that

I recently bought this one through Amazon:
"Esky Amplified 150 Miles HD Digital Outdoor HDTV Antenna"
I'm about 50 miles from the broadcast stations and am able to pick up ABC, NBC, and about seven other stations great. But, so far not CBS, which sucks. I have been experimenting with this inside my office. If used outdoors with a tall mast, I bet it would be awesome. It has a motor that turns the direction with a remote. I'm happy.

There's nothing special about a "digital" antenna. I built one out of scrap I had laying around using some simple plans from the internet. The picture is clearer than my cable. It might not work if you're a hundred miles from the TV tower.

That's a good option for people who don't have an Xbox or PlayStation, but no need for me to spend money on a roku when I can everything it can do on my Xbox
