Anyone still thinking the SEC gets two teams in the playoff?

I'm starting to think no without some help. Bama, Auburn, MSU, and Ole Miss are just gonna best each other up and don't think but one ends up with less than two losses. Florida St., Notre Dame, Oregon, Michigan St. , and TCU all have a good shot to end up with only one loss or in the case of FSU undefeated. Plus I don't think the national media has the appetite for two SEC teams

That would be the nail in the coffin right there.

There is still a ton of football to be played. Everyone always picks 2-3 "can't lose teams" at this point in the season, then they all lose over the course of the next 3 weeks to lesser opponents. The SEC will have a chance to get 2 in.

I've hated the idea of only 4 teams in the playoffs - how about the top two get in and the next 4 play for a spot to face them? The play-in games are played right after the regular season and losers are bowl eligible.

Gives us 6 teams in.

I think it's possible for even a one loss team to get left out.

I doubt two teams unless ND loses.

Then there are several paths to two teams. I do not however believe that a two loss SEC champ is automatically in if there is only one loss.

Put it this way, if the west produces two 11-1 teams in the top three and the east winner is Missouri and they win the seccg the other 11-1 goes.

Still a lot of football to be played before then.

What I think is most likely is a single one-loss SEC team in the playoff.

No, because the committee is designed to keep that from happening in the first place.

The SEC West continues to beat themselves up.....everyone has 2 losses, and no SEC team makes the playoff. It will be classic.

This is already the reality
8 teams in CCG's = play in games

Fill in with Notre Dame and Big 12 teams after that

Gives us 6 teams in.

That should give us 4 - 6 teams every season
