I'm thinking of subjecting myself to these folk Sept 3.
Should I?

LOL. You know the answer to this question
I went there in 2008. If Auburn played in the Superbowl and I got 100 free tickets, I would not go back to Morgantown

I haven't, but my relatives- who are LSU fans- went and they said they were treated horribly.
I didn't have a problem with them in Atlanta, but they do seem a bit rude.

If you like white trash, I highly recommend the trip.

I was there when LSU played...people 30 and over awesome...younger were scary and in your face, F you, F you...but overall, a nice little town, nice small stadium and they sell beer. Worth the experience, in my opinion.

Don't, there is nothing there worth the drive. Seriously, it is one of the worst places I've ever been, and I lived in Russia for a year.

Think again JQ. The best thing you will see in Morgantown is the sign saying you are leaving the city limits. Don't do it man.

Picture 4 25-35 year old men drinking out of the back of a mid 90's Chevy s-10 in a parking lot, blaring Korn and Insane Clown Posse. They're all wearing Walmart WVU pajama bottoms and one of them has decided to piss right where he is standing while flipping you the bird.
Now multiply that by 1,000 and you have their tailgating scene.

I would rather go to the LSU game. It's a much better atmosphere and it's about the same distance to travel. SEC baw.

No problems with them in Atlanta but they were the filthiest fan base I've ever seen.

Come on up you will have a great time. The drive through the state is beautiful.
The LSU and Auburn fans I met at the games seemed to be having a good time but as stated some might have had a bad experience.
Since joining the big 12 our fans have calmed down a bit and we have gotten good reviews.

Town is awful, people are awful. The transit system is cool and campus isn't terrible. The fans though... just prepare yourself for things you've never seen in the SEC

This feels like a trap, don't go JQ. If you do go, watch all the Wrong Turn movies beforehand so you'll be prepared for all their tricks.

I've been to Morgantown a couple times. Not for a football game though.

I would not go at this time. It is too far to travel for the money, and you get treated like trash the whole time you are there. Beautiful State, but horrible University as a whole, unfortunately.
It is a waste of your time. Hoping they will get things figured out in the future, though.
Just come to UGA, Auburn, Alabama and LSU though.
Really looking forward to playing you guys!

Yes. In 2011.
Our bus from DC broke down, so we didn't make it to Morgantown until about an hour and a half before the game.
The campus looked decent. Stadium is a cool atmosphere. The girls are easy. Didn't make it to any of the bars.
I'd recommend it just because it's so different.

It's an absolute dump. Probably the most depressing city Ive ever been in and the students are a bunch of Northeast guidos

Only in the SEC do we go around calling 60000 a small stadium
