It just started, 10:00 PM Eastern Time. This was a slobber knocker of a hard hittin' game. It may be painful for Bama fans to watch but still, it was a good SEC football game.

You may want to direct Bama fans that are watching basketball about this.

The 2010 Iron Bowl is honestly a game where after Alabama went up 21-0, just about everything that could go wrong did go wrong.

They legitimately could have been up 42-0 in that game if not for some key mishaps allowing Auburn to get themselves back in the game. In the second half Auburn was close enough to stage a comeback like they had all year, but only because Alabama didn't finish us off in that awful first half.

Thanks for the heads up, but I have no interest in watching that one again. Great game by SC, though.

Now, back to basketball....

If I want to watch an old game I'll turn on one of our national title wins we've had since then

Greatest game by Garcia in his career by far.

Alshon had some clutch catches in the game. I can't remember but i think it was Kirkpatrick that he abused at the end of the game to ice it.

I'm kind of wondering though, and thinking about how things could have easily turned differently.

If Garcia doesn't step on his dick twice in the fourth qtr at Auburn then we beat them at their place and they never make the SEC or MNC game. Gotta hand it to Cam though, the SOB absolutely broke-out in that game.

Then I wonder what Bama's mindset might have been heading into the Iron Bowl if they were still undefeated and had not lost to us in this game I'm re-watching now.

Difference between the two games was Garcia - he flopped in the 4th at Auburn and played lights-out in this one. But Alshon had a huge game too, so did Lattie, so did the D. Flippin' how good was that Bama D though. They keep calling names that I recognize in the NFL now. What a loaded D that was for Bama.
