I don't believe it is anything serious. But I would not be surprised if sumlin gave him a rest against USC to get him ready for Tennessee.

Because the play calls for a cut block, dumbass.
Every team in the NFL runs that play.
You cut block the end, to get his hands down as the QB throws a quick pass right over the DE.
The cut block keeps him from deflecting the quick pass.
This is a standard play. Are you really that ignorant about football?
