Curious as to what they are expected to do this season. I know they are a bottom feeder, but curious since they picked up Shannon Dawson. I went to school with Shannon and played baseball with him. He's a great hire for them and should improve the offensive play a bit.

Anywhere from 6-6 to 8-4. Depends on how healthy the team is because depth still isn't there at some positions.

Pretty excited about Dawson, Patrick Towles, Boom Williams and a very deep WR corps. If the offensive line can hold up, UK could have one of the best offenses in the SEC this season.

I'm cautiously optimistic. I predicted us at 7-5 but if we go 6-6 I'll be happy. Based on the depth chart released today we will have a lot of freshman playing, including the possibility of having two true freshmen at the corner spots.
I think we can compete in every game this year and atleast make the final score respectable, although the UGA and Auburn(and possibly Tennessee) games have the potential to get ugly.
Of course, I may have a different opinion this time next week.

Sums my thinking up perfectly.

4-8 or 5-7
Typical Kentucky season.

I'd imagine 6-6 to 7-5 with wins over cellar dwellers Vandy and Florida. Possibly UL.

I am not liking Mizzou having to go there for our SEC opener with a young d-line and very young unproven receivers. Sounds like your having to start true freshmen in the secondary might negate our youth at receiver somewhat, but it wouldn't surprise me in the least if UK finally beats us in SEC East play this year.

Oh the irony

6. Tennessee (2-6)
7. Kentucky (0-8)
2012:
6. Tennessee (1-7)
7. Kentucky (0-8)
2011:
6. Kentucky (2-6)
7. Tennessee (1-7)

That's asinine. We're going to have a worse record with a better team and an easier schedule than last season? Sure.

What's the QB situation?

They're starting a 6'4" true freshman at corner

No depth issues there. Towles is the starter and Drew Barker is backing him up. Reese Phillips is back there behind Barker.
