Another sexual assault incident at UT

Nobody has really talked about it, but a little over a year ago, a walk-on LB sexually assaulted a female student at the time. Fortunately for the LB, he had both his parents and Butch on his side. His parents paid the girl enough hush money to shut her up and Jones suspended him from team activities for just shy of a month while knowing all of this was taking place. This is actually known by several people involved with TN and was kind of the beginning of all the fallout.

Not new. The girl in that case is one of the plaintiffs in the title ix suit and her sexual assault allegations were thrown out by the student advisory board because her roommate said she was lying.
There was a huge article about it in the Tenneesseean about a year ago. No names but it talks about John Doe and Jane Doe.

I know a lot about this case and I don't buy the hush money being the reason nothing came of it because this girl and her family have been very active in the media and there have been multiple stories about it in the past year.
It is very very unlikely he committed this crime from everyone I've heard and there is a reason his name isn't out there.
Even putting his position is chickenshit imo when he is not guilty of anything.

I've been trying to bite my tongue about UT lately but god damn do you guys have some issues. Too much smoke for this to be a money grab IMO.

Maybe so but it doesn't make much sense for her to be on a crusade to get the kid in trouble if she's been paid off to keep quiet.
As I said, from what I heard about it last fall it is a BS allegation, but I wouldn't be surprised if somehow he becomes guilty in the next couple days just like Butch has this week.
