It's about time that Northern Missip had a good calendar year against THE Miss State U. I was beginning to wonder if we would always own each and every sport against you all. Regardless, congrats and I'm sure a banner is already in the makings? Guess what is said, is you still finished below us in the division... for the 5th straight year

4th place finish in what? That's a stellar year for Northern Miss. Miss State finished 2nd. Something you hang banners for as well. 2003 or whenever it was.

Congrats on that 2nd place trophy, I'm sure the SEC office felt the need to take every opportunity to make sure OM was satisfied, that it will never happen again, at least not in our lifetime.

Pretty sad that some of them have to live vicariously through a Big 12 school and their women's basketball team because their bigger sports programs can't get the job done.

That's debatable. That team didn't make it to ATL. Home field advantage is big in the EB, so it wasn't too surprising. Plus, you just got your skull drug by Arkansas 30-0, I'm sure our guys just thought they could go thru the motions and win by watching game tape. Kids will be kids. Saved it all up for your Super Bowl. Kudos.

They were #1 in the nation in defense, depends on the day I guess. Our other 10-2 team could make a case as well.
